Photosynthesis

Aerobic respiration

C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂ → 6CO₂ + 6H₂O + 38 ATP

Fermentation; occurs without oxygen.

Anaerobic (muscle)

Glucose → 2 Lactic acid + 2 ATP

Cardiac output

CO = Heart rate × Stroke volume

Typically 72 × 70 mL ≈ 5 L/min.

Pulmonary ventilation

PV = Tidal volume × Breathing rate

About 500 mL × 15 = 7.5 L/min at rest.
